 The word "Crone" was appropriated by a patriarchal system that came to use crone to describe an ugly, old woman. Its original meaning is "crowned one" and refers to an archetypal figure… the Wise Woman, Sage, Leader, and Elder. "I've got silver in my hair, gold in my heart, and steel in my veins...and I know my worth!" Along with the Maiden and the Mother, the Crone represents part of the circle of life.

Where: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church Community Room

       647 Dundee Ave. Barrington, IL (enter through back entrance of church off parking lot)

Fee: Suggested offering $ 30-40. Give as able.

Proceeds after expenses will be donated to Cary-Grove Food Pantry
